Junior Players - U10, U12 & U14

Key Information:
Dunsborough Basketball Club accepts INDIVIDUAL registrations only for Junior Age Groups. Our team selection panel will create teams to ensure a fair and balanced competition.
U12/U14 players will be able to nominate for which grade they would like to play in A, B or C.
U12/14 A Grade players who are nominating for this grade will be expected to trial for a position in a A Grade team on the 31st August 2025 at the Naturaliste Community Centre, grading will be;
U14 Girls: 12noon arrival, trial starts at 12:15pm - 12:45pm
U12 Girls: 12:45pm arrival, trial starts at 1:00pm - 1:30pm
Year 7 boys: 1:30pm arrival, trial starts at 1:45pm - 2:15pm
Year 6 boys: 2:15pm arrival, trial starts at 2:30pm - 3:00pm
Year 5 boys: 3pm arrival, trial starts at 3:15pm - 3:45pm
Year 4 boys: 3:45pm arrival, trial starts at 4pm - 4:30pm
Changes to grading: This year only those who are looking to play A Grade need to trial.
All other players can nominate their preferred grade and the club will do everything possible to accommodate.
Please note not all players nominating for A Grade will be selected. Focus is personal & game development within basketball. Friend Requests will not be applied for this grade.
U12/14 B & C Grade players - Focus is FUN, friends & community - Can list up to 2 friends to play with (DBC will do our best to accommodate however cannot guarantee friend placement.)
Teams will be announced via email to all team members - 16-17th September
Volunteers - Coach & Team Manager: (Question 15 - U10, Question 17 - U12 & U14)
These roles are required to be filled for the Team to be able to participate in the competition.
Please consider volunteering for a position in your Team. It is so rewarding being involved in the running of your child’s team.
There are only 8 players in a basketball team and 2 out of the 8 parents are required to volunteer to fill the positions.
Remember every volunteer has had their first year at some stage so it doesn’t matter if you have never done this before. Dunsborough Basketball Club will support you.

To WAITLIST register your child, please click on the appropriate link below for your Child’s Date of Birth & Gender.
Carefully complete the FORM & SUBMIT. The Club Thank You message will display on the screen. There is no email confirmation, once you press SUBMIT this is confirmation you have registered your child

Step 2 - PlayHQ Online Registration
This is the platform for payment of registration.
You will receive a team email from the Club. Registrations will open via PlayerHQ on the 15th September, you MUST use the individual team link to register
This will include:
- Name of the Coach (if they have been appointed)
- Team Manager (if they have been appointed)
- Team Players List
- Playing Night
- Individualised Team Link
- Instructions on how to Register on PlayHQ & PayClick on the individualised Team Link and follow the instructions to register and pay ASAP
This must be completed no later than Friday 26th September.
