Finals Fixtures
BABA has confirmed the Finals Fixtures, which are now live on PlayHQ. Please note that court allocations and game times are subject to change.
Finals Format
Week 1: Semi-Finals - Week of 17th March
- SF1: 3rd vs 4th (Elimination) GAME 2 
- SF2: 1st vs 2nd (Qualifying) GAME 1 → Winner advances directly to the Grand Final 
Week 2: Preliminary & Grand Finals - Week of 24th March
- PF1: Winner of SF1 vs Loser of SF2 
- Grand Final: Winner of SF2 vs Winner of PF1 
Note: U16 & U19 Grand Finals will be played mid-week, with a two-day break after their Preliminary Finals.
A Reserve Finals
- Grades for A Reserve Finals (8 teams): - U12 Boys A Grade 
- U16 Boys A Grade 
- U19 Boys A Grade 
- U19 Girls 
- Women’s Division 
 
- The A Reserve Finals will follow the same format as above, with teams finishing 5th to 8th. 
Finals Series Eligibility
- Eligibility Requirement: Players must have played a minimum of 5 games to be eligible for finals. If you are unsure of games played for a player, reach out to us ASAP and we can run a report in PlayHQ for you. 
- Forfeits: Any forfeits for team that were forfeited against – all players are eligible to be credited a game. 
Scoring
- Teams must provide a competent scorer for their Prelim & Semi Finals. Scorers will be assigned by BABA for the Grand Finals. 
Important Info
- Preliminary & Semi Finals: No stop clock. Teams must provide a competent scorer. 
- Grand Finals: The last 3 minutes will have a stop clock. Scorers will be assigned by BABA. 
Reminder to Teams & Spectators
- Players Under 18: Must wear a mouthguard. 
- Players: Remove all jewellery and wear the correct uniform. 
- Spectators: Please be respectful and hold your basketball still during all games. 
- Team Seating: - Team A: Sit on Red Chairs 
- Team B: Sit on White Chairs 
 
- Teams should move quickly from the bench and huddle at the end of the court. 
- Please show respect at all times to Players, Scorers, Officials, Coaches & Managers. 
- BABA will not tolerate any bad behaviour or language.
